There is no airport in Meganisi, so you can arrive via car ferry either from Nidri (Lefkada) or from the islands of Kefalonia, Corfu, Paxoi, Zakynthos. A water taxi can be hired from Lefkada (Nidri or Perigiali port) to collect you and take you to the island.

The nearest airport is Aktion Airport, at Preveza city on mainland Greece. There are charter flights from several main UK airports and mainland Europe and direct flights from Athens International Airport. The journey from the Aktion Airport to Nidri port takes approximately one hour by taxi or rental car. There is also a daily bus service between Aktion Airport and Lefkada Town and Lefkada Town to Nidri.

Alternatively, if your trip starts from Athens or other mainland Greek city, Lefkada can be reached by bus or car since the island is connected to the mainland with a small bridge.
