The most famous is the Cave of Papanikolis. Its name comes from the “Papanikolis” submarine, as it is said that it used the cave as a base during World War II.

It is a sea cave 120 m long, at the south-western end of the island, with the width of the entrance starting from 60 m. and to reach 23 m. inside it, with a depth of around three.
